About information
My name is Rev. Richard Moore, doctoral candidate; I’m an associate minister at Oakridge Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas. I have served in the United States Navy (four years), Jackson Police Officer, Jackson, MS. (five years), and I’m a retired Supervisory Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) (22 years). I have extensive experience with the judicial system and have seen it serve as a revolving door to young people who needed guidance and resources instead of incarceration. Much of what is happening in the mass confusion of riots and demonstrations today results from oppressed people not being provided the resources needed to survive in a world of inequality. I have studied different religions such as Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. I have a healthy respect for all faiths and opinions! However, based on my studies, experience, and belief, I confess and declare Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior.
